MY STORY SO FAR

After graduating from Humble High School, I earned a B.F.A. in Design Communication from Texas A&M at Commerce.
I have since continued my education, taking courses in web design and development, Flash animation and multimedia for designers.

My experience includes over five years in the print production studio at LOOMIS — a fast-paced, ad agency in Dallas — and nine years of freelance graphic design. While at LOOMIS, I production and design work for a variety of national and regional clients, including Texas Diary Queen, La Madeleine, Sleep Experts, Brookshire's, First United Bank and North Texas YPO. Working in an ad agency taught me a great deal about design and advertising from concept to printing. Through my freelance projects, I have worked with small businesses, individuals and a school, developing their brands.

My education and work experience have helped me accrue many skills, including logo design, layout design, the prepress process, photo retouching (including people and food photography), web design (HTML 5 and CSS 3), proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). In addition, I continue to practice pencil, ink and digital illustration and cartooning.
